Everything is Illuminated! - It is obvious as to what you were trying to convey within this comic. Firstly, The Hat, capitalized only for commercial purposes, reflects human commercialism, while the gun, represents supply & demand. Without human commercialism, we would have no leg to stand on when it comes to democracy, for, without the demand for democracy, there would be no world. The Gun represents the fact that we need democracy and human commercialism in today society, and the second man, with the Older Hat, represents that of old day's taditional values and how they would stomp upon the newer values that we, bringing democracy to newer cities (such as Iraq) might fight.
It's all so clear!

- I totally got that underlying subtext.
and by underlying subtext I mean a Terry's Chocolate Orange.
and by totally got I mean am currently eating.
social commentary apparently makes me feel like I'm full of chocolate
